On September 16, 2024, Netflix officially announced the green light for another swath of episodes.

In a short video, series star Lily Collins revealed that the show would continue its Italian setting in the next season, cheekily teasing, “There’s no place like Rome.”

Will Emily in Paris become Emily in Rome?

“We will definitely see more Emily in Rome if we have a season five. Emily [is now] there. There’s an office, and I think the story is taking us there for the moment. So we will spend more time in Italy, but it doesn’t mean we’re leaving Paris,” series creator Darren Star told Glamour earlier this month.
