Her future husband, Boston Celtics player Payton Pritchard, noticed her too, shooting her an Instagram comment after seeing his sister watch her content and thinking she was cute. They talked for a few months, but it wasn’t until 2022 that they got together for good. Then, Pritchard officially entered her WAG era. One of the best parts? The fashion.
“Basketball is a very fashionable sport. I feel like there's no sport out there that does it like they do. I feel like every single person who shows up to games is always wearing some crazy outfit, which I love. It's the coolest thing ever,” she says.
Integrating her WAG life with the rest of her content has been seamless, she says, mainly because her followers have been so supportive.
“They're super excited,” she says. “I have some people who were like, I was a fan of Payton before, and when you guys got together it made it even more special.”
Some followers have even told her they have attended a Celtics game just to see Pritchard and her husband, which she thinks is amazing.
“Girls started to watch basketball just because of us, which is so crazy to me,” she says. “I mean, I would probably do the same if one of my favorite influencers was with someone on a team. That's such a cool thing.”
Emma MacDonald Pritchard and her husband got engaged in July 2023 and married this past summer on Cape Cod. Pritchard says that her husband’s dedication to his career inspires her to go even further with hers.
“We want to be able to be very successful with what we both do, but also together as a team,” she says. “And also hopefully in the next few years, starting a family, which is very exciting for the both of us.”
