Valorant has established itself as one of the most popular PC games in recent times. Just like COD took the market by storm with the COD Mobile drop a few years ago, Valorant is reportedly prepping to walk the same path. And pretty recently, Riot Games has again teased Valorant Mobile, increasing the excitement of the fans by a lot. Riot Games could soon start providing regular updates related to Valorant Mobile.
And the franchise has also revealed that they are working with an ‘amazing partner’ to make the game available for the masses. Previously, the official German Valorant account on X.com (formerly Twitter) shared a cryptic post with the caption. “got any games on your phone?”. The tweet was accompanied by a resized photo of Valorant character Killjoy in her signature sunglasses and a green beanie. Expectations at that point in time were that Valorant was hinting towards the development of the smartphone version.
For those who don’t know, Valorant Mobile China is the only approved version of beta testing until now and the closed beta test of the game was performed last year. And the images of those tests were shouting only one thing that the game is going to give COD Mobile and PUBG Mobile nightmares. And in 2023, the franchise said that the development of Valorant Mobile looked promising until now but they will not release the game till it becomes picture perfect.
Challenges for Valorant Mobile
Valorant Mobile will be facing a tough challenge from other competitors in the market like PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile, and Free Fire. And outclassing games like COD and PUBG that keep dropping new events every now and then will be a tough nut to crack for Valorant Mobile for sure. However, one thing that we are confident of is that the day Valorant Mobile gets listed on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, it is going to break a lot of records for sure.
