A new report claims that a fan-favorite former WWE Champion is being prepped to return to action now that the promotion has jumped to Netflix: Alexa Bliss.

Former WWE Raw Women's ChampionBliss is preparing for her highly anticipated return to the ring after nearly two years of absence.
According to a recent update from WrestleVotes, "The highly anticipated return of Alexa Bliss is on the horizon, according to a well placed source. Creative is reportedly working her into future plans, with merchandise and promotional materials already in development."
Bliss last competed at the 2023 Royal Rumble, where she faced off against Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Championship but was ultimately defeated.
Following that, Bliss took time away from wrestling for a series of personal milestones. She participated in The Masked Singer as "Axolotl," where she was eliminated after six episodes.
In May 2023, Bliss announced she was pregnant, and by November, she and her husband, Ryan Cabrera, welcomed their daughter into the world.
During her time off, Bliss faced several health challenges. She dealt with complications from pre-eclampsia, a condition that can lead to high blood pressure, as well as postpartum health issues.
In March 2023, prior to her pregnancy announcement, she also underwent a procedure to remove skin cancer cells after a biopsy revealed basal and squamous cell carcinoma.

Bliss, however, shared with her followers in November that she had recovered from all health concerns and was now in good health.
Although Bliss has been away from the ring, she kept fans intrigued with cryptic hints about her return.
In 2024, she shared that she had resumed working out, further fueling speculation that a comeback was imminent. Additionally, she teased in a post ahead of WWE Raw's Netflix premiere that she hoped 2025 would be a "blissful" year, leading many to believe that her return might coincide with the start of the new year.
Fans remain hopeful that WWE's 2025 Royal Rumble (on February 1st) could serve as the stage for her highly anticipated return, given WWE's history of surprise entrants at the event.
In the meantime, Alexa Bliss has also ventured into voice acting, lending her talents to the Netflix anime Sakamoto Days, based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki. Bliss voices the character Obiguro in the series, which follows an ex-hitman turned shopkeeper navigating his new life while balancing fatherhood. The first episode of Sakamoto Days is set to release on January 11th, with new episodes following weekly.
