Full List of Counties Donald Trump Flipped From Kamala Harris

1 month ago 2

Donald Trump has flipped 54 counties across the U.S. from blue to red on his way to victory, according to the data now available, gaining support in areas of the country which had long been Democratic strongholds.

On Wednesday, the Republican nominee was elected president with 277 electoral college votes over his Democratic rival Kamala Harris' 224, also winning the popular vote. It was a historic comeback that spoke of the frustration a majority of the American electorate felt with the Biden-Harris administration and concerns over the country's economy and immigration.

The clearest sign of this malaise among the American electorate is just how many counties across the country flipped in favor of Trump, while none flipped from red to blue. Trump triumphed in places where a GOP candidate hadn't won in decades, including Starr County in Texas, where Trump became the first Republican to win since 1892, and Carlton County in Minnesota, where a Republican presidential candidate had not won since 1928.
