Gabriel Macht is suiting up once again.
The actor, who starred in Suits as suave and successful lawyer Harvey Specter, is returning for the show’s Los Angeles-set spinoff.
Macht posted a video on his Instagram seemingly confirming that he would be appearing in the upcoming series starring Stephen Amell.
“When an old friend is in need…it’s time to take care of things and make those very ‘things’ right,” he wrote in the caption of a video set to the Suits theme song, “Greenback Boogie.” The brief clip sees him wearing a white button-down shirt with the initials “H.S.” engraved on the sleeve and brown formal shows with the name “Harvey” inside.
The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to NBC for comment.
Suits L.A. will see Amell portray Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who now leads his own firm on the West Coast. “His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career,” the logline reads. “Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.”
Suits originally ran from 2011 to 2019 on the USA Network but gained a new level of popularity when all nine seasons began streaming on Netflix in 2023, becoming the most-streamed show over the course of a year in the history of Nielsen’s rankings.
The legal drama racked up 57.7 billion minutes of viewing last year and finished ahead of the 57.13 billion minutes of viewing for The Office in 2020, its final year on Netflix. Its newfound popularity on streaming led NBC to fast-track a spinoff of the New York City-set TV show, which will also star Josh McDermitt.
Suits L.A. premieres on NBC on Feb. 23.
