Samsung has a solid Black Friday deal going with the Galaxy Watch 7 up to 50% off with the trade-in of older Wear OS smartwatches.
In recent years, trade-in deals have been the best way to score a better price on a new piece of Samsung hardware. There’s a massive discount on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 available right now that cuts the foldable to as little as $399 when you trade in specific hardware, but that’s not the only good deal available.
The Galaxy Watch 7 is already one of the best values in an Android smartwatch today, but Samsung is making the deal even sweeter. For Black Friday, the Galaxy Watch 7 is available for $100 off with the trade in of any smartwatch in “any condition.” As long as it functions, you’ll get that full trade-in credit. That brings the cost of the 40mm size down to under $200, and $230 for the 44mm size.
Meanwhile, Samsung will give you $150 for any of its previous generation Wear OS-powered Galaxy Watch models. Whether it’s a last-gen Watch 6 or the first Wear OS smartwatch Samsung made, the Galaxy Watch 4, you’ll get $150. Even Samsung’s latest Tizen-powered smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 3, is eligible for that full $150 discount.
For the 40mm Galaxy Watch 7, that cuts the price in half, down to just $149.99.

Beyond that, you’ll get $250 if you trade those smartwatches towards the Galaxy Watch Ultra, cutting the price down to as low as $399.99. Samsung is especially prioritizing Galaxy Watch 4 Classic upgrades with that deal, with a Watch 4 Classic worth more than the much-newer Galaxy Watch 6. The same $100 “any smartwatch, any condition” offer also applies to the Ultra.
These deals (available only in the US, unfortunately) are especially good for anyone that’s still hanging on to an older Wear OS smartwatch, perhaps from Fossil’s lineup. As updates dry up and the hardware ages (in many cases poorly), these are among the best ways to get the most value out of your existing smartwatch.
