Garcelle Beauvais is not backing down, even after Kyle Richards went as far as to call her an “assh*le.” Looks like the waters might grow more and more turbulent for these Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members.
For those who missed it, here’s the recap. On a recent RHOBH episode, Garcelle tried to encourage Kyle to live her life freely and authentically. “Do whatever the f*ck you want to do,” she said. “Be whoever you want to be. If you want to be a lesbian, be a lesbian.” What’s ironic is that some folks would argue Garcelle isn’t all that authentic either.
On the RHOBH After Show, Kyle reflected on the moment. She said, “What was really going through my head was, ‘You’re being an assh*le right now. And don’t try to act like, oopsy daisies. You know exactly what you’re doing.'” But Kyle’s words haven’t deterred Garcelle.
A pap from TMZ recently caught up with Garcelle and asked her about the lesbian comment. As soon as the pap brought it up, Garcelle rolled her eyes with a smile. When asked if she regretted the comment, she said, “No.” She explained, “I wasn’t saying it to be malicious.”
“It was more about, we’re powerful women, we can be whatever we want to be. So it wasn’t a dig, it was just supposed to inspire her to do whatever she wants to do.” The pap laughed with Garcelle for a moment, then asked if she had a response to Kyle calling her an “assh*le.”
“Yeah, I heard that,” she said. “It’s so funny because we laughed about it afterwards. So for her to say that was pretty shady.” When asked if she would retract the comment now, Garcelle said, “No, I don’t take it back.” Garcelle has her opinions on Kyle’s life, and she’s not backing down.
