Despite proudly advertising the show just two days ago, the concert will not be moving forward at the last minute
GARTH Brooks’ performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! has been abruptly canceled with no plans to reschedule as the singer is accused of raping his makeup artist, The U.S. Sun can reveal.
The country music star is currently in a court war over a lawsuit that claims he raped his hair-and-makeup stylist in a hotel while the pair traveled together in 2019.
The allegations were first filed by his accuser, referred to in the lawsuit only as Jane Roe, at Los Angeles Superior Court in early October.
On the same day the accuser filed the lawsuit, Garth, 62, played a show at his Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on October 4th.
“If there was ever a night that I really needed this, TONIGHT was that night!
“Thank you for my life!!!!! love, G,” the Friends in Low Places crooner wrote on Instagram with a picture from the concert.

However, Garth had kept a low profile in the weeks since and has not been seen out in public since his last Vegas show.
That was expected to change on Monday, November 25 as Garth was scheduled to perform a mini-concert on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Tickets were available through the live audience company, 1iota, for weeks proudly advertising the upcoming appearance.
Fans were granted tickets to come see the show at Jimmy’s Hollywood, CA studio however, just days before the taping, the event was abruptly canceled.
“Unfortunately, the Garth Brooks Outdoor Mini-Concert at Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, 11/25 has been canceled and will no longer proceed as scheduled,” ticket holders were told on Tuesday, The U.S. Sun can confirm.
The e-mail added: “Television production decisions can fluctuate due to a variety of reasons.
“We hate delivering disappointing news, and we hope you will join us in the future for another exciting fan experience.
“Unfortunately, in the world of television, these things sometimes happen. This event will not be rescheduled.”

Just two days before the cancellation, 1iota advertised Garth’s performance, posting on social media: “Garth Brooks is bringing his magic to Jimmy Kimmel Live with an exclusive outdoor mini-concert!
“Be there as country music’s legend lights up the stage.”
A rep for Jimmy Kimmel Live! did not respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
According to the lawsuit filed in early October, the alleged victim said that she started working for Garth back in 2017 after having worked for his wife, country icon Trisha Yearwood, since 1999.
She alleged that the assault took place when she and Garth traveled together from his hometown of Nashville to Los Angeles while he performed with soul singer Sam Moore at a Grammy Awards tribute in October 2019.
The lawsuit claimed the pair were alone on his private jet for the trip, and he booked just one hotel suite for both of them.
'LOADED GUN WAVED IN MY FACE'
She alleges that Brooks appeared naked in the doorway of the suite's bedroom and raped her.
The alleged victim then claimed after, he proceeded as though nothing had happened and expected her to do his hair and makeup as normal.
In response to the allegations, Garth said in a statement that he is "not the man they have painted me to be.”
“For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end with threats, lies, and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars.
"It has been like having a loaded gun waved in my face,” he said.
This is an intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, and false light invasion of privacy.
Garth Brooks
Garth filed a preemptive lawsuit in federal court in Mississippi in September in which both he and the woman were anonymous.
In that suit, obtained by The U.S. Sun, Garth, under the pseudonym John Doe, said the allegations are “wholly untrue.”
He then accused the alleged victim of blackmail and extortion and claimed this was an “intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, and false light invasion of privacy.”
Last week, Garth asked a U.S. District Judge to dismiss the accuser’s claims and direct her to re-file the lawsuit in a federal court.
The Grammy winner's next Las Vegas residency show is scheduled for Thursday, December 5th, and, as of now, is still expected to proceed as normal.
