GB News presenters Patrick Christys and Emily Carver have delighted fans by sharing a heartfelt update from their honeymoon. The married couple, who tied the knot earlier this year, are taking a well-deserved break but assured viewers they will return to "The People's Channel" next week.
Patrick shared a sweet message with fans, saying: "We’re missing you GB News but thank you to everyone who’s stepped in to cover our shows! We’re having the best honeymoon but it’s back to reality on Monday! Emily Carver and I will see you all then."
The couple's wedding earlier this year was met with an outpouring of support from GB News viewers and listeners. In a behind-the-scenes video for GB News members, Emily reflected on the special day and the incredible messages they received.
"We had the most wonderful day, and something that made it really quite special was all the amazing messages we received from you.
We must have had hundreds if not thousands of well-wishes sent to us. Everyone had something lovely to say," Emily revealed, before reading out some of the touching messages.

The pair revealed they had postponed their honeymoon to cover the UK General Election for GB News.
Away from his job, Patrick has spilled the beans on what he gets up to behind closed doors.
Speaking about his day to day routine, Patrick wrote an article on GB News explaining what really goes on in his private life.
He stated: "I am one of the lucky ones: I do a job that doesn't feel like work because I love it so much. My weekdays are absolutely non-stop, full-on GB News - the weekends are when I catch up on sleep, go out for nice meals and crash out on the sofa in front of Netflix.

"Monday to Friday usually starts by being woken up by Emily (my wife's) alarm at 6.30am, moaning about what time it is and then rolling over and then waking up properly at 8am."
He later goes through his working day and speaks about going on air at 9pm before heading back home at midnight.
"I put the key in the front door at about midnight. Emily has usually made me a little bite to eat so I'll have that, which I really appreciate because she's got a full-on schedule as well.
"I often struggle to sleep because of the adrenaline of the show and the 57 coffees I drank at work. Also, my head will usually be whizzing with ideas for the next day."
Patrick also disclosed that he only really spends time with his wife on weekends and tries to keep those days as free as possible.
