BRIT award-winning musician George Ezra, 31, has become a dad for the first time.
The singer-songwriter was spotted with baby in tow as he walked around in Hertford - his home town - while picking up supplies. George looked casual and lowkey in black waterproofs and white trainers, and held his baby in a carrier. The star picked up some nappies, formula, and Brewdog beers, and looked more than happy as he walked beside his girlfriend, whose identity remains anonymous.
“George is ecstatic about becoming a dad. It’s been such an exciting time for him and this Christmas is going to be very memorable for him. George is in a great place and is enjoying being a hands-on dad,” a source told The Sun of the happy news. While George has kept his relationship private, one woman did come forward and admitted she was manipulated into believing the singer was romancing her.

The woman, from Surrey, was contacted online in January last year by a man purporting to be George alongside members of "his team.” She was asked for funds for a special membership group which would allow her to meet him in person, and was persuaded to send £500 in Bitcoin and £720 in gift cards.
When there were no funds left to send, she was asked to take out a £5,000 loan. At this point, she realised it could be a scam and reported it. Following an intervention by Surrey Police, under Operation Signature - the force's process to identify, protect and support vulnerable victims of fraud - the woman was provided with specialist support by Victim Witness Care. She was supported by caseworker Claire Wonnacott with a mixture of telephone, face-to-face and online contact and was also given access to a romance fraud support group.
George looked in good form on his outing with his baby after suffering through a scary health crisis in the summer of 2023, resulting in him having to cancel two gigs. "Hi everyone, unfortunately George has started feeling incredibly unwell this afternoon,” his management shared at the time.
"He's been diagnosed by a doctor as having acute vertigo and as a result we sincerely regret to announce that tonight's show at the O2 in London will not be able to go ahead as planned. We wanted to let you know as soon as possible. Ticket holders, all tickets remain valid and please bear with us as we reschedule the show - we're very sorry for everyone who has travelled for tonight." Fans took to the comments section of the post to respond, with many of them sharing messages of support. "I hope he gets better soon," one wrote underneath the statement, with another adding: "Omg - get well soon George, wishing you all the best."
Vertigo is often caused by inner ear problems, which affect balance, but can also be caused by migraines and medications. According to the NHS, vertigo feels like you or everything around you is spinning – enough to affect your balance. It's more than just feeling dizzy. A vertigo attack can last from a few seconds to hours, but severe vertigo can last for many days or months. It can also be a symptom of larger, lifelong problems, but neither George nor his management have suggested that could be the case.
