GLASTONBURY fans are convinced a US indie icon will play on The Park Stage at next year's festival.
Eagle-eyed music lovers have spotted a Glasto-sized hole in Father John Misty's UK and Ireland tour next year and believe he'll be announced for Worthy Farm.
The former Fleet Foxes drummer, real name Josh Tillman, has just released his critically-acclaimed album Mahashmashana and is promoting it with 10 dates in June and August.
However, there are no gigs pencilled for June 28 or 29 - both Glasto festival dates
Writing in a fan forum, one person wrote: "Surely he's nailed on? Would love to see him play The Park!"
Another said: "He's played before so I don't see why not."
A third shared: "The Park would be an ideal venue. I expect they will have him at End of The Road."
Tillman recently spoke about his new record in an interview with NPR and revealed why he named his record after the Sanskrit word.
He said: "It means the great cremation pit, where the universe goes to die after its cycle of birth and death.
"And despite the lofty title, the concerns are pretty terrestrial in my work. And I just liked the contrast of such a grand concept mapped on to what I'm usually singing about."
He continued: "As I am rounding the corner of 40 - I don't know - there's just intimations of impermanence that are creeping over the horizon.
"It's not like an endless vista of possibility anymore. And at least for right now, conceptually, it's just - it's a little bit of, like, an exciting proposition."

The eight track album has beautiful ballads, hypnotic psychedelia and catchy rock hooks and sits comfortably in the upper echelons of the Misty canon.
It follows highly-rated LPs God's Favourite Customer, Pure Comedy and I Love You, Honey Bear, to name but a few.
Glastonbury 2025 - rumoured acts
THE Glastonbury line-up hasn't been confirmed - despite the fact tickets for the 2025 event sold out in minutes. Here are some rumoured acts.
Basement Jaxx sparked speculation they will be playing at Worthy Fam after leaving a "Glastonbury shaped gap" in their latest tour schedule.
It came after the hit duo announced their first live shows in 10 years - with gig-goers calling out a key "clue" in the order of their concert dates.
Yet acts including Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Eminem are rumoured to be in the mix.
Canadian songstress Alanis Morrisette and Simple Minds have also been tipped to take to the stage.
The event will run from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday June 29 for 2025.
