Gogglebox's Joe Baggs has spilled the tea on being given the cold shoulder by former co-star Stephen Webb after his exit from the hit Channel 4 show.

Despite having a tight-knit relationship while filming, Joe, 27, who graced the screens with his family from 2020 to 2022, was left disappointed when Stephen turned down an invite to feature on his podcast, 'Not My Bagg', which he hosts with his brother George.

Joe expressed his surprise at the apparent snub, saying he had felt close to certain cast members, including Celebs Go Dating star, Stephen. Joe said: "There are some cast members where, like we thought we were close to it. And then I've asked them to come on our podcast afterwards, and they've declined."

Speaking to The Sun, he added: "I've been a bit like, 'Oh, so whatever'. Yeah, like it's a strange one 'cos you feel like once you're in the bubble and in the community, it's like, you know, you're really you're really close to people and then afterwards you're like, Oh, OK, maybe not so."

He didn't shy away from naming names, adding: "I don't mind saying - it was Stephen who was on Celebs Go Dating. I asked him to come on and the management declined and I thought it was really strange. On the show we were very supportive, but the rest of the experiences in person with all the other families has been amazing!" response.

Gogglebox favourite Stephen Webb has hit the dating scene on E4's Celebs Go Dating following his split from hubby Daniel Lustig earlier this year. He joined the star-studded cast including MAFS UK's Ella Morgan, Made in Chelsea chap Tristan Phipps, Corrie's own Helen Flanagan, Love Island alumnus Chris Taylor, chart-topper Jamelia and the ever-popular influencer Lauryn Goodman, reports OK!.

Stephen and Daniel announced they were to get divorced back in April, but remained close friends. Daniel previously explained that he's sometimes apprehensive about posting about their friendship due to the reaction. Speaking to the Express, he said: "Whenever we put pictures online, sometimes I'm bit dubious posting pictures together, because all of a sudden you just get all these messages. Some are really positive but there's lots of like 'are you back together? Get back together'. And I'm like 'oh God!'"

Daniel also shared that he was shocked to hear of a suggestion from Stephen amid the former couple maintaining a friendship. Reflecting on the surprise, he said: "Obviously he met people on Celebs Go Dating, and he was like, 'Oh, what about if something worked out, we could go out for dinner.' And that's like… I was a bit shocked." Daniel added: "So I was like if you met someone and it was working for you guys, if it was a serious relationship and it worked, then yes, I would definitely."
