A couple of months after its launch, the Google TV Streamer is finally a quick and easy purchase as the device is now readily in stock and shipping immediately.
The Google TV Streamer has been on sale since late September, but getting your hands on it quickly has proven a bit difficult. Shipments were almost immediately delayed through late October and third-party retailers were having trouble keeping it in stock as well.
Finally, though, it looks like things have stabilized.
The Google Store currently has the Google TV Streamer in stock and shipping immediately for both the “Porcelain” and “Hazel” colors. Delivery is estimated within 5-7 days, as is typically the case for products sold through the Store. Previously, shipments were delayed by as much as 2-3 weeks or more. The standalone Google TV Streamer remote is also readily in stock currently.
The same trend seems to apply at third-party retailers. Best Buy has Google TV Streamer in stock in store, though shipping seems to vary depending on your region. Amazon also has Google TV Streamer stock, the first it’s had in some time now. The set-top box is in stock and has speedy Prime delivery, something that hasn’t been the case for several weeks now.
This comes just in time for the holiday season. Chromecast with Google TV also remains readily in stock from the Google Store and Best Buy as a lower-cost alternative.
