Halle Berry’s Texts With Ex-Employee Exposed in Custody Battle With Ex-Husband Olivier Martinez

Halle Berry submitted a series of text messages she exchanged with her former employee into evidence as part of her custody battle with her ex-husband Olivier Martinez, In Touch can exclusively report.

In Touch obtained the texts that Halle, 58, sent to her ex-employee Miryam Haziza before she learned of the alleged betrayal by the woman who worked for her 20 years.

Halle and Olivier, 58, are currently fighting over legal custody of their 11-year-old son, Maceo. The actress demanded Olivier be stripped off legal custody because she believes he is interfering with their son’s growth.

Olivier scoffed at the request and asked that Halle be shut down. The two are set to face off next month in court for a hearing on the matter.

Recently, Halle revealed she believes Olivier conspired with two of her former employees. The first being a former nanny/assistant named Erica Simamora. The second is Miryam.

She claimed that Miryam has not worked with her since she learned Miryam conspired with Olivier and Erica without her knowledge while still employed by her.

Halle claimed Erica and Miryam made “false reports” against her.

Olivier listed Erica as a witness that he plans to call at the upcoming hearing. Halle fired back, claiming she would also be grilling Erica at the hearing.

The actress said that Erica’s testimony “is relevant because [Olivier] inexplicably persuaded [Erica] (while employed by [Halle]) to contact [Maceo’s therapist] with the goal of interfering with Maceo’s therapeutic process, which is relevant to legal custody … as well as conspired with [Erica] to make false reports about [Halle].” Halle submitted a text chain that started on October 4, 2023.

She wrote to Miryam asking her if she had spoken to Erica lately. Miryam told the actress she had not. A lot of the messages are redacted in the chain.

The next message from Halle read, “And sidebar if you don’t talk to Erica she just lied on you big time!” Halle’s former employee replied, “WTF she say?”

Halle wrote in another, “And as for Erica … I could not imagine that you still talked to her but this is gonna be a huge problem.”

Miryam’s response was redacted but Halle then replied, “I was WTF???? I will sue her ass OFF.”

Halle wrote to Miryam at one point, “OK, I don’t think so as I know how fiercely you protect our family’s privacy. And I knew you would never give out information — Olivier is just mad that I won the school battle and he’s wanting to make me a bad guy here. He looked so bad in front of the judge last time and was caught is [sic] so many lies that he’s trying to drag me to his level.”

“I get it but why me???” Miryam responded.

Halle replied, “No idea what their evil plan is. But its evil. And honestly Erica has nothing damaging she can say. Yes did s–t happen with Van in the beginning but we dealt with all of that and with HIM. It was a stressful time, but we got through it. Olivier sent Maceo to us to make trouble and we all knew it!” Halle added, “So I’m not at all afraid of anything Erica could say, and by the way, she cannot talk to anyone about anything that happened at our home, unless she is subpoenaed to court, by the court, which will never happen.”

The texts do not reveal who Van is, but Halle’s boyfriend is named Van Hunt.

As In Touch first reported, Halle also submitted a series of texts exchanged with Olivier about the situation.

In a text, dated October 11, Halle told her ex-husband, “I am floored from the information I learned through my case against Erica. I know we have not been on the best terms and decision-making with respect to Maceo has been difficult at best, but I was truly shocked to discover the lengths you have gone to in order to manipulate people closest to me and try yourself and through your lawyer to get these people to [redacted].”

A judge will hear from the exes next month.
