Hannah Kobayashi has been found!!!
One month to the DAY after going missing, the Hawaii woman has been found safe! According to her family, the 31-year-old made contact with them on Wednesday and assured them of her safety. Her mother, Brandi Yee, and sister, Sydni Kobayashi, revealed in a statement via attorney, Sara Azari, to multiple outlets:
“We are incredibly relieved and grateful that Hannah has been found safe. This past month has been an unimaginable ordeal for our family, and we kindly ask for privacy as we take the time to heal and process everything we have been through. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during this difficult time. Your kindness and concern have meant the world to us.”
Wow!!
The lawyer did not provide details on when, where, or how they made contact with Hannah. Azari noted the family will not be making any further statements at this time.

What a relief this must be! Hannah was last heard from on November 11 after missing her connecting flight from Los Angeles to NYC. Her family initiated a relentless search, during which her father Ryan Kobayashi tragically died by suicide. Most recently, LA police reclassified her missing status to “voluntary missing person” after she was spotted crossing the US-Mexico border with her luggage on November 12. We then heard details of an alleged marriage visa scam she was involved in alongside her ex-boyfriend and an Argentinian couple. But we’re sure her family isn’t thinking of any of that right now! As far as they’re concerned, she’s alive and SAFE — something they seriously doubted for a while!
Great news! Reactions??
