According to a report from Shams Charania of ESPN, the Miami Heat are planning to once again suspend star forward Jimmy Butler.
"The Miami Heat are planning to suspend Jimmy Butler for two games, sources tell ESPN," Charania said. "Butler missed a team flight Wednesday and had plans to join the Heat tonight. Now Miami is keeping him home from its two-game road trip."
This would mark the second time Butler has been suspended by the Heat. The first suspension lasted seven days.
This comes after Butler publicly requested a trade from Miami.
This season, Butler has averaged 17 points, 5.2 total rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game across 25 games.
