With only four days of tracking activity in its first week, Tyler, the Creator has earned his third No. 1 album with Chromakopia.

Billboard reports that his eighth studio album, which dropped on a Monday instead of the traditional Friday release, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned Tyler his best week for an album yet with 299,5000 equivalent album units in the week ending Oct. 31. It's the sixth-biggest debut of the year, an impressive feat for a record that was released with just four days left of the tracking week.

Chromakopia performed so strongly, in fact, that it could have landed at No. 1 with pure sales or streams alone. The record brought in 212.55 million on-demand streams, 157,000 equivalent units, and 142,000 in sales. His last two studio albums, 2021's Call Me If You Get Lost and 2019's Igor, also debuted at No. 1. Tyler's latest was bolstered by multiple deluxe CD sets including a poster, merch, and a CD. It also has a special vinyl edition available to order exclusively through his official store.

The expedited rollout of Chromakopia left fans waiting less than ten days between its announcement and release. Written, produced, and arranged by Tyler, the album features appearances from Daniel Caesar, Teezo Touchdown, GloRilla, Sexyy Red, Lil Wayne, Latoiya Williams, Santigold, Lola Young, Doechii, and Schoolboy Q.

Elsewhere on the chart, Halsey's The Great Impersonator landed at No. 2 with 93,000 equivalent album units., of which 81,000 were sales. It's her fourth No. 2 debut. Sabrina Carpenter's Short n' Sweet also stuck around in the top ten, falling from No. 2 to No. 3 with 74,000 equivalent album units. Eminem's The Death of Slim Shady returned to the top ten at No. 6 thanks to its vinyl release.
