The Kardashians, such as Khloe Kardashian, have been speaking out on the devastating Palisades fires engulfing California. Many are worried about whether the famous family’s homes will be impacted.

Kourtney Kardashian has already been slammed for a “tone deaf”” post about the Los Angeles wildfires and is being urged to “do better,” while her home is reportedly the closest to being hit.

How close to the Kardashians’ houses are the fires?

The Palisades fires are currently happening in eastern Malibu, near to the Calabasas Hills and Hidden Hills. The Kardashians all live within six miles of each other, and currently, Kourtney’s is most at risk.

It’s only a 44-minute drive, with a distance of 31 miles, from where the fires are happening to their homes in Calabasas Hills. Currently, residents living in Calabasas and Hidden Hills are being evacuated.

Kim Kardashian has a $70 million Malibu mansion and it was at significant risk due to the fires. However, it hasn’t been confirmed as lost. According to a user on X, she was “evacuated from her property”.

She is just north of the evacuation zone, where authorities were urged residents to remain alert and prepared to leave at a moment’s notice late on Thursday evening.

Kim bought her three-acre estate there in 2022, which has involved several renovations. It previously belonged to Cindy Crawford, and has a tennis court, and private beach access.

Their hairdresser’s house has burned down

Khloe and Kourtney’s hairdresser, Jen Atkins’, home has been burned down in the California fires. The Kardashians star shared a video to social media of her crying over the devastating loss.

She said it’s “too much to comprehend” and feels “scared and sad,” but added that she’s “grateful” despite it all. Jen was evacuated with her husband, Mike Rosenthal, and their dog.

“This is weird to post but our house is gone,” the Ouai founder wrote on Instagram Stories along with a photo of herself crying. “We just got confirmation. Our whole area demolished.”

“So many are displaced and feeling scared right now it’s almost too much to comprehend,” she added. Jen continued that her neighbors are “taking care of one another and checking in.”
