The Minnesota Timberwolves are heading to the Windy City on Thursday to face off against the Chicago Bulls, with tip-off set for 8 p.m. ET at United Center. It's the first meeting between these two this season, and Chicago fans might recall that the Bulls swept both matchups last year.
Minnesota is coming off a 114-93 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday, where they took control of the game early. Naz Reid was the star of the night, scoring 25 points off the bench and knocking down 5-of-7 from three-point range.
Not bad for a guy who made a statement every time he touched the floor. The Timberwolves are showing some serious depth, with their bench coming through in a big way.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have hit a rough patch. They've lost three straight, most recently a 119-99 defeat to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. It wasn't their best showing, but Nikola Vucevic did his part with a double-double, putting up 14 points and grabbing 10 boards.
However, Chicago will need more help from the rest of the squad if they want to snap this losing streak and defend their home court.
Will the Timberwolves ride the wave of their latest win, or can the Bulls shake off the recent slump and show United Center why they swept this series last year?
