Actor Hugh Grant has kept the names of his two youngest daughters secret — up until earlier this week when he finally revealed their unique names.
During a conversation on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that aired on Tuesday, October 29, the Heretic actor revealed the history of some of his family names, including his own. Grant revealed that his full name is Hugh John Mungo Grant — but he was often called "Hugh Mungo."
"I don't know how it happened," Grant said. "I had very unkind parents."
Kimmel then asked the Notting Hill star if he gave the middle name to his kids, however, Grant said he did "worse," and revealed the name of his 8-year-old daughter.
"I have a daughter who I named... I was in a bit of a panic with my wife on the day we named her and we thought it might be nice for her when she was older if she could say in bars that her middle name was Danger," Grant said. "So her name is Lulu Danger Grant."
He continued, revealing that his 5-year-old daughter also has a relatively unconventional name. Grant revealed that one of Lulu's brothers played a part in choosing the name of the now 5-year-old girl.
"We said, 'There's a new baby coming along, what should we call her?' And he said, 'Kevin,' because that was his favorite Minion," Grant recalled, referencing the movie Despicable Me. "And we did think about calling her Kevin but then we said, 'You better think of something else.' So he said Blue, because it was his favorite color."
Grant shares Lulu and Blue with wife Anna Eberstein. He is also the father of John Mungo, 12, who he also shares with Eberstein — as well as daughter Tabitha Xiao Xi, 13, and son Felix Chang Hong, 11, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Tinglan Hong.
