Hugh Grant has revealed his daughters’ quirky names.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the British actor began talking about his family’s unusual monikers. The host started by pondering: “I must ask about your middle name because this is a little details and I don’t know how it slipped past me the last time, but Mungo is one of your middle names, yes?”
Grant giggled and responded: “Yes, that’s right,” and joked that his parents had been “very unkind”. The Love Actually actor then quipped: “So as a result, I gave my own children even worse names!”

Hugh shared the names of his youngest daughters: Lulu Danger and Blue. He admitted that he and his wife were in a rush to name her: “We thought it might be nice if, when she’s older, she could go into a bar and say: ‘My middle name is Danger.’”
As for Lulu, Grant and his wife Anna Eberstein asked one of their sons what her name should be, which resulted in the Minion-inspired moniker Kevin. However, his next suggestion Blue was much more popular with the parents.
“We did think about calling her Kevin but then we said: ‘You better think of something else’,” he told Kimmel on the talk show. While promoting his new A24 horror flick Heretic, the former rom-com actor revealed that Lulu is obsessed with Taylor Swift.
He told NME: “My daughter is made about Taylor Swift. I’m an amazing dad, I’m an amazing person. I put out some feelers and to my astonishment they said: ‘Come along!’”
Hugh took his daughter to the Eras Tour, where Lulu was reportedly “bopping away” and “going absolutely mad”. The actor also discussed his parent duties with BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball and confirmed that the child couldn’t stop “bopping up and down”.
Grant has five children: Tabitha Xiao, 13, and Felix Chang Hong, 11 with his former partner Tinglan Hong, and John Mungo, 12, Lulu Danger, 8 and Blue, 5 with his wife Anna, whom he married in 2018.
