Hugh Jackman confirms romance with Sutton Foster: Their first date night [WATCH]

Hugh Jackman is confirming his new romantic relationship! The Hollywood star is dating his Broadway co-star Sutton Foster, following his divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness after 27 years of marriage. The pair were spotted in Los Angeles, going on their first public date night.

The new couple was photographed holding hands and having a casual conversation. The 'X-Men' star and the 'Younger' actress were all smiles in their latest outing around Santa Monica, California, wearing casual yet sophisticated ensembles while enjoying their time together. 

Meanwhile, Sutton was married to screenwriter Ted Griffin for nearly a decade, before the pair divorced in 2024. The former couple share a 7-year-old daughter, Emily. 

“He has an impeccable reputation of being the hardest working man, incredibly kind, and generous—and all of that is true,” Sutton said to Vogue in 2022 while talking about her friendship with Hugh.  

She continued, “He’s now become one of my best friends, which was a surprise, because you usually go into these things thinking, ‘Well, I hope we get along.’ But we just spent Memorial Day with our families. It’s really fun to meet new friends after 40.”

The pair have shown their support for each other's careers on Broadway, and their friendship slowly evolved into a romantic relationship. Rumors about their relationship started after fans noticed their chemistry in 'The Music Man,' but they only confirmed the romance until now. 

The couple stepped out in LA to enjoy dinner together, with Hugh wearing a pair of white pants, a gray sweater, and a black jacket, paired with blue sneakers. Meanwhile, Sutton looked elegant in a brown coat, with a green olive dress underneath. 

She styled her short hair straight and paired the look with black high heels and a matching black purse. The actress rocked a soft glam makeup look and held hands with the Australian star.
