A Tesco customer has discovered that they are literally one in ten million—and the category will leave you amused.
Reddit user Vented55 recently took to the social media platform and shared that they have a 'one in ten million' Tesco meal deal order, as confirmed by the 2024 Unpacked on the Tesco app.
The Tesco app gives its users insights into their shopping and spending habits at the store, including their most bought meal deal items. Imagine a Spotify Wrapped, but for your Tesco shopping.
In a screenshot shared on the Tesco subreddit, Vented55 divulged their wildly unpopular meal deal order of an All Day Breakfast Sub, Onken Naked Strawberry Yogurt Pouch and a bottle of San Pellegrino Sparkling Natural Mineral Water.
The message on their second screenshot read: "You’re 1 in 10 million! Out of over 10 million possible combos, no one shared the same favourite Meal Deal. That’s pretty impressive!" And then all hell broke loose.

Vented55 asked their fellow Tesco subredditors: "Is my meal deal really that bad? Not even one person shares my meal deal," and to no one's surprise, they got the most British responses ever.
One user commented: "Oh so you’re one of the psychopaths somehow keeping sparkling water on the shelves." As the top comment on the thread, it seems many people agreed with the anti-sparkling water sentiment.
Others joined on to the we-hate-sparkling-water wagon, with one user saying: "Sparkling water is actually less healthy than still, it's more acidic although not enough to really worry about. Also it probably makes you depressed because it's awful."
One brave user tried to make a feeble case for sparkling water, by saying: "I think the reason sparkling water tastes bad to so many is that they think fizzy and they automatically expect sugar. I'm not denying the psychopath claim, but I feel like we should be somewhat “respected psychopaths” instead of being shunned from society."
Another user called back to the recent news of boiled eggs taking the top spot as the most popular meal deal snack in the United Kingdom, and commented: "Honestly mate the fact that 'the nation's go-to' snack was a boiled egg makes every other option seem normal."

Yet another Redittor kept it simple and said: "I can see why."
One user had much to say about the choice of Vented55's pouch yoghurt, writing:"For some reason seeing a grown adult eat yoghurt out of a pouch is pretty gross to me. Like an enormous snotty toddler with a yoghurt smeared mouth. So yeah, no offence intended, but this is a pretty grim."
Another user made an overall assessment of the order and said: "If you swapped the cardiac sub for anything else, there would probably be more like-minded people. But that just makes no sense with a yoghurt and liquid disprin."
Since going live, Vented55's post has accumulated over 2,100 upvotes and 375 comments and counting.
