I'm A Celeb beauties find loophole in strict makeup ban with clever solution

2 hours ago 3

I'm a Celeb stars are banned from bringing makeup into the jungle, but that hasn't stopped them wearing the stuff.

This year ITV viewers are questioning whether that rule has been dropped or if campmates are breaking it. 2024's campmates such as Tulisa, Jane Moore and Coleen Rooney all appear to be wearing a fair amount of makeup on their brows, lips and eyes, leading X/Twitter users to ask if a few of them have snuck products into the backpacks - but the celebs have found a clever solution to the problem.

One asked: "Why isn't Tulisa and Jane's make-up coming off?" while a second wondered: "Sorry, but how have Tulisa and Jane still got make-up on?" Turns out the stars are actually abiding by the no makeup rule, instead opting for a clever roundabout way to cheat the beauty ban in the form of semi-permanent makeup, the Mirror reports.

This is not the first year that I'm A Celeb stars have indulged in pre-jungle tattoo transformations to ensure they look made-up on screen, but with at least three of this year's campmates sporting various forms of semi-permanent make-up, it definitely seems to have taken off as a trend.

Tulisa Contostavlos

I'm A Celeb fans have been left questioning if some of the campmates are wearing makeup

Tulisa took to Instagram shortly before jetting off to Australia to update her followers on her jungle-ready beauty treatments. She wrote: "I tatted the lips to match the brows, couldn't help myself!" reports the Daily Record.

The N-Dubz star appears to have gone all out with a full set of eyelash extensions for the initial weeks of the show. However, given that lash extensions need topping up every 2-3 weeks, her eyes might look a bit more bare as the series progresses.

Jane hasn't revealed any pre-jungle beauty treatments on her social media, but it's likely that her well-defined eyes and brows could be the result of semi-permanent makeup. She may have had her upper and lower eyelids outlined with tattoo eyeliner and her brows enhanced with microblading, although this has not been confirmed.

Coleen may have opted for semi-permanent makeup

Coleen may have opted for semi-permanent makeup

Coleen looks radiant and gorgeous with clearly structured and tinted brows, possibly thanks to microblading or microshading. Like Jane, Coleen didn't post any beauty updates on her Instagram before heading off for her stint on the ITV show, but we know she's a fan of microblading.

Semi-permanent makeup artist Liz Clough shared a snap of Coleen last August, captioned "Brow top-up today for Coleen", along with some impressive before and after shots.
