As ITV's latest I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contenders settle into the Aussie wilderness, viewers are itching to find out who will embrace the celebs on their departure from camp.
The meet-ups on the bridge between the cast and their loved ones are one of the programme's highlights and can offer a glimpse into relationships the public rarely get a glimpse of. This was particularly evident when Matt Hancock, who appeared in the 2022 series, emerged third in the contest and reunited with Gina Coladangelo following their high-profile affair.
Joining this year's troupe is Radio 1's Dean McCullough, who is already winning over fans just two episodes in. Hailing from Newtownabbey near Belfast, the Irish broadcaster has charmed the audience with his self-deprecating humour and obsession with the Wagatha Christie case, and is set to face a trial in scenes that will air tonight (November 19).
But what do we know about 32-year-old Dean's life off-screen? Particularly regarding his relationship status?
Dean's been quite hush-hush about his romantic life, but a playful TikTok clip he shared hints at his relationship status, reports OK!. However, a video shared back in April offers an insight into a potential beau.
The footage shows Dean striding into his home and speaking into the camera. He says: "My boyfriend's just got home. He's really turning me on... you're not gonna believe what he's doing." Dean then flips the camera to show a man with grey hair in a white top and jeans, diligently scrubbing the balcony. He then turns the lens back on himself, biting his knuckle in a playful manner.
The footage was accompanied by the caption: "Babe, I'm gonna scrub the balcony. Got me in my FEELS. Is cleaning my love language?".
The current status of their relationship is unclear, as the man has been absent from Dean's recent social media since the clip was posted.
In the jungle, Dean is accompanied by celebrities including Coleen Rooney, Oti Mabuse, Danny Jones, Tulisa Contostavlos, Adam Halsall, Jane Moore, Melvin Odoom, Barry McGuigan, and GK Barry.
Viewers have been commenting on Dean's stint on the show, with one sharing on X, previously known as Twitter: "Never thought watching someone on the toilet would ever be funny till Dean McCullough needed a number 2 then jumped up and ran out of the dunny with his pants round his ankles because of a spider. Oh I love I'm A Celeb."
Another fan expressed their admiration for Dean, saying: "Apparently it's an unpopular opinion but I actually love Dean McCullough."
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX
