I'm A Celeb winner Scarlett Moffatt has issued an urgent warning to the winner of the 2024 series.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Mirror, the former Gogglebox star opened up about the struggles she faced after leaving the show, advising the new winner to prepare for the sudden change in attention.

Scarlett explained: "I was just on Gogglebox, not many people would come up to me on the street or anything like that, but then when you come out of a show like I'm A Celeb, all of a sudden everyone's interested in what you're doing."

She added: "I would say to people just make sure they've got a good support network around them. Looking back in hindsight, I wish I'd stayed up north. I made the decision of coming out of I'm A Celeb and being like 'This is my job, I'm going to move to London, I'm going to be on TV'.

"And I think actually, I should've taken a breath and been like 'right this is going to be really crazy so I need to be around the people that make me the happiest'."

"I did the opposite and left everyone and went on my own, so I think that really affected me. If I wasn't at work, filming, or doing something, I was just in my flat alone, and it felt very overwhelming."

Scarlett emphasised: "I would say to people, make sure they have a good support network around them and take a day off. It gets very busy, they've come out, and it's Christmas. They need to make sure they take days off and enjoy the experience—the bubble doesn't last long, milk it!"

This comes after Tulisa addressed her absence from social media following her I'm A Celeb stint. In an Instagram post, she explained how she felt "overwhelmed" by the attention after being away from the spotlight for so long.

The singer, who was eliminated from the jungle earlier this week, said: "I was getting a lot of attention, a lot of bombarding - in all the most positive way, but because it's been a bit of a while for me, I can get overwhelmed quite easily and I just started to feel a little bit overwhelmed. And I was like, do you know what? I need to just take a little bit of time for me and just chill. This is all just feeling a bit much at the moment," she said.

In the same video, she later added: "But I just really wanted to clear up the reasons why that I did that and just be honest - it's OK to feel a little bit overwhelmed. I've been out of the spotlight for a long time and I'm still trying to overcome those things, I've got my demons. It doesn't mean I'm going to hide behind a rock for another ten years it just means I need a little bit of time to process it and get right with my thoughts. Thank you to ITV and I'm A Celeb for being really understanding. Mental health is really important and I am super grateful for the love and support that I've had."

The final episode of I'm A Celeb will air on tonight at 9:00pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
