Former I'm A Celebrity campmate Helen Flanagan has said that Coronation Street bosses warned her about doing the show, amid her discussing co-star Alan Halsall.
Helen, 34 - best known for her role as Rosie Webster on the ITV soap opera - competed on I'm A Celebrity in 2012 and later returned for the 'All Star' edition last year. She's now said that Corrie bosses warned her over doing the jungle.
The actor reminded in a recent interview that "so many people" from Corrie have gone on the reality TV show. Speaking about bosses from the soap, she told the Sun: "They let you know 'look, it's really hard. Don't go in there thinking it's going to be easy, because it's going to be really, really tough and you're going to have to really dig deep'."
Helen went on to share that former co-star Alan, 42 - who is a campmate on the new series of I'm A Celebrity - is "definitely up to the job". She told the outlet that he will be "great" in camp and discussed cast members taking part.
She said that actors from the soap opera "learn to be really good with a lot of people." Helen explained: "It makes you a people's person because you're dealing with actors of different ages, from all different kinds of backgrounds."
The Celebs Go Dating star said that cast members are used to be around "so many different people" so Alan will be "great" in camp. She added that working on Corrie is "such a social thing," with her mentioning the green room.

Helen's comments come ahead of Alan's first bushtucker trial being broadcast on Thursday's episode of I'm A Celebrity. He will face 'the Rank Bank' with camp leader Danny Jones and frequent trial attendee Dean McCullough.
It marks Dean's seventh trial of the series so far. The BBC Radio 1 host has done more trials than any of his co-stars. I'm A Celebrity host Ant McPartlin even encouraged fans to stop voting for Dean to do trials last week.
Following the presenter's suggestion, other campmates did get voted by the public for trials. Jane Moore and Maura Higgins did one together earlier this week, whilst Tulisa Contostavlos took on her very first trial on Wednesday night's episode of the show.
I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs every night at 9pm on ITV1, STV and ITVX.
