I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Barry McGuigan's son Shane has been hospitalised, sparking concern among fans.
The boxing trainer, 36, who previously dated fellow campmate Maura Higgins, shared a worrying update on Instagram, posting a photo from his hospital bed with a drip in his arm. He wrote: "It's 1 thing after another atm at the moment", but did not reveal the reason for his hospitalisation.
This news comes after Shane's father Barry and his ex-partner Maura were eliminated from the jungle in a surprise double eviction on Thursday night. Some viewers attributed their departure to the fact that fans in the Republic of Ireland were unable to vote on the show.
Shane, who is currently engaged to singer-songwriter Taylor West and has two sons with her, recently appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss his friendship with Maura. He highlighted their shared small-town roots, saying: "Maura as well she's an Irish girl she's from a small town in Ireland so they're both from the sticks."

A source revealed that the distance between Maura's home in Ireland and Shane's London base made it difficult for their relationship to work. The insider shared: "Maura has brains and beauty and she quickly caught Shane's eye. They got chatting and had instant chemistry so of course he asked her out."
"At the time Maura lived in Ireland, and Shane was running his boxing gym in London, and she was travelling a lot for work so it wasn't easy to pull off. There were no hard feelings when it ended."
