Influencers took center stage at the 2024 TikTok Awards!
The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, November 27, at the Hordern Pavillion in Sydney, Australia. Hosted by Robert Irwin and Creator of the Year winners of 2023 and 2022, Indy Clinton and Kat Clark, the show included several awards such as Video of the Year, Comedy Creator of the Year, International Creator of the Year, among many others.
The event brought together some of the most-loved creators, from sporting heroes to game-changing creators, to celebrate this year’s biggest viral trends and the most talked-about moments on TikTok.
The red carpet included some of your fav influencers, such as JoJo Siwa, who rocked a mind-blowing rainbow outfit and a bedazzled eye mask. Other stars who attended included Peach PRC, Chloé Hayden, Brenton Thwaites, among many others.
This serves as one of JoJo’s first events since announcing her breakup with dancer Dakayla Wilson. JoJo announced the split while attending the 11th Annual American Reality Television Awards on November 18, when she was asked about her holiday plans with Dakayla.
“We have gone our separate ways, but she is an amazing girl,” she told People Magazine at the time. “And I got my own fun holiday plans, and I know she’s got her family that she’s spent the holidays with.”
The news of their split came three months after they made their relationship Instagram official in August.
Along with sporting her rainbow look, she also performed at TikTok Awards, singing her iconic single “Karma,” which went viral earlier in the year. She has since revealed that the “bad girl” rebrand was inspired by Miley Cyrus‘ Bangerz era.
“This is what I want. [Miley] is my number one idol. I want to do what she did with Bangerz. I want to have that moment. I’m flattered that the world even can compare [it to] that,” she told Access Hollywood at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
