Conor McGregor has the unwavering support of his fiancée despite being found to have sexually assaulted a woman on a night out.
The former UFC champion, 36, was accused of "brutally raping and battering" Nikita Hand in a Dublin hotel in December 2018. He denied in court that he raped her and claims the sex was consensual. Ms Hand won her claim against him and McGregor has been ordered to pay more than €248,000 (£206,000) in damages.
After the verdict, McGregor left the court with his partner Dee Devlin in hand, and a snapshot of her facial expressions after the verdict has since gone viral. In the photo, Dee appears blank with watery eyes. It comes as McGregor issued a grovelling public apology to his fiancée, who he has been with for 15 years, writing online: "I should never have stepped out on the woman I love the most in the world. That's all on me."
Now, Dee has spoken out to boldly back her fiancé, saying in a social media post: "Conor and I dealt with these issues privately many years ago, as should be done in a relationship and we have come out stronger than ever. We have four beautiful children now whose smiling faces and happy hearts are a testament to who he is and who we are!"

The Dubliner's whiskey brand Proper No.12, which McGregor sold in 2021 for more than £100million, will no longer carry his name. A popular video game developer has also decided to pull content featuring the MMA fighter.
Despite McGregors' controversies, Dee remains by his side after 15 years together. The pair met as teenagers before McGregor shot into the spotlight with the Irishman erupting onto the fighting scene in 2013.
Sharing how they first met, McGregor previously told VIP magazine: "I asked her to come over and we just started chatting. She seemed like a nice girl, and I like good girls." Dee added: "He was already training when I met him, so I really admired his dedication to that."
The fighter also told MMA Fighting: "I love to spoil her. She does not work anymore, I hired her to the business. She works for me now and collects the cheques. Dee worked very hard throughout the years and stuck by me when I had essentially absolutely nothing. I only had a dream that I was telling her."

In 2017, the couple welcomed their first child, son Conor Jr, now seven, into the world, just before the infamous Mayweather bout. Their second child, daughter Croia, now five, was born two years later. A year after that, the pair got engaged and had their third child, son Rian. In 2023, their youngest, Mack, was born.
Taking to Instagram, the former two-weight UFC champion announced the baby's arrival by saying: "My baby boy is born! Mammy and baby doing amazing, 8.1lbs of prime Irish double champion beef!" He later revealed his newborn son's name, adding: "Say hello to Mack McGregor everyone."
Although McGregor's exact net worth is unknown, the far-from-modest fighter told the Irish Mirror in 2023: "I'm closing in on a billion now. I think I'm at about $650million (£520million) all in I've made. I think they [Forbes] estimate that. I'd have to probably do my own little check of that. But I fancy my chances, I fancy my chances of getting up that list."
