Davina posted a video updating her supporters, with one of her eyes bruised.

She captioned the video: “Every day I feel stronger and stronger. I just wanted to say thanks for all of your support, it meant the world to me and my family. And also to @mdlondon, he’s been a complete legend.

“If he’s not with me, he’s at work, for his busiest time of year bless him. I’m sleeping loads. Recovery thru sleep. I still feel so lucky. Grateful. Blessed.”

In the clip, she explained that she is “just trying to sleep a lot” and “get better”.

She had previously admitted that she was struggling with her short-term memory, but it has been “improving” since.

“My short-term memory is really improving a lot every day,” she said. “It has been an example to me of how much sleep helps me recover from everything.

“If I feel a bit confused or I'm struggling to concentrate, I just got to sleep, and I wake up just completely renewed and refreshed.

“I know that my brain needs lots of sleep.”

Her partner Michael spoke about her current condition during a livestream on Tuesday, explaining that she’s “definitely out of the woods”.

He added: “She's quite tired at the moment. She sleeps really well at night and goes to bed at 10pm and has a nap in the morning, and sleeps for two or three hours in the afternoon.”

Michael shared that she is off work until mid-January and will have “a lot of time to relax and recuperate”.
