Lily Allen has reportedly checked out of her home and into a £8k US trauma clinic after her marriage to Stranger Things star David Harbour came to an end, leaving the star 'spiralling'.
It was announced on Monday that she has also taken a break from ongoing work commitments whilst she focuses on her well-being, including her podcast Miss Me? which she hosts alongside friend Miquita Oliver.
Lily, 39, was said to have felt "triggered" when she returned to the plush Brooklyn townhouse she lived in with Harbour last week.
She later admitted she's been “spiralling and spiralling” over rumours Harbour, 49, cheated on her. She's now set to spend weeks at the £8,000-a-week trauma treatment centre, and will take part group sessions and one-to-one therapy which will be "intensive" and will help her "unpack" her emotions.
A source told Mailonline: "It was very painful for Lily to return home. David used to be her saviour and now he’s a trigger for her. Lily settled her kids back into the family home and took them to school for their new term, then flew herself straight to rehab. She went a day earlier than intended as she felt wobbly and desperate to escape."
A closer look inside the pairs Brooklyn home
The couples 'dream home' is situated in the tree-lined Brooklyn neighborhood of Carroll Gardens. The lavish space features many eccentric features, making it stand out with a luxurious edge.
The living room area includes floral wallpaper, a bronze palm tree lamp, a custom emerald velvet sofa and a stunning 19th-century crystal chandelier.
The duo enlisted the expertise of interior designer Billy Cotton and architect Ben Bischoff to revamp the late 19th-century Italianate brownstone, initially by undoing years of renovations that had concealed the original moldings.
They then reimagined the space, blending lavish furnishings with bold colours that highlight every intricate detail within the rooms. Drawing on the classical Italian-style architecture and the local Italian-American heritage for inspiration, Cotton shared his vision of designing the home "as if they'd inherited the home from a kooky Italian nonna with fabulous taste."
"I've always been interested in interiors, and I've always done my own homes. But this was a big undertaking, and I needed help," Allen remarked to Architechtural Digest. "Together, Billy and I tried to reach for something weird and wonderful."

It boasts an unconventional layout, featuring a windowless, flamingo-pink bedroom that can only be accessed through the bathroom. Each room has its own theme, ranging from a den adorned with tiger stripes to an all baby-blue bathroom used by Allen's children.

"Lily is the one who really set the tone and drove the program. Every time I tried to make it calmer, she kept pushing and pushing for more," Cotton revealed.
"She has such presence and star quality, you just can't picture her living somewhere boring and conventional," he further remarked.
