Mike Denver enjoyed a special Christmas at home in county Galway this year.
The country music star said there is no feeling like having Santa Claus visit his four-and-a-half year old daughter Mia.
His traditions have remain relatively the same over the years, but one big thing changed for 2024.

Mike told RSVP Country: "We’ve got a routine in place. We call to Liz’s home place for a few hours on Christmas Eve to drop off presents and meet everyone.
"Christmas morning used to begin with Mass and breakfast, but we might go on Christmas Eve this year because it will be very hard to get Mia away from her presents after Santa Claus comes.
"After going to see my parents and having dinner at home, all of my crew will call down. Liz’s parents always call on Christmas night as well."
Mike took tonight off to spend more time with his family.
He added: "We decided not to book any gigs for St. Stephen’s Day anymore because it’s a family day for me and the guys in the band. They all have kids and grandkids."
Having the magic of Christmas and Santa Claus in the house has added something really special to the lives of him and his wife Liz.
He said: "There’s no feeling like it. We took videos of Mia coming downstairs and Christmas morning last year and the excitement was incredible.
"I can’t wait to see what Santa brings and to experience that magic again."
Mike is kicking off 2025 with a bang with lots of work coming up.
The country music star said: "I’m kicking off my concert tour around Ireland.
"I’ve 30 shows with special guests every night like Philomena Begley, Ray Lynam, Louise Morrissey, Gina from Gina and the Champions, Gerry Guthrie and Brendan Shine.
"I’m heading on a UK tour in March for two and a half weeks. It’s great fun."
Mike isn't a fan of making New Year’s resolutions.
He said: "Everybody makes New Year’s resolutions, but they only last until the second week of January [laughs]. I will probably come up with some plans, but they never last."
