The festive season is well and truly in the swing of things, and Peter Andre has shared his Christmas plans, which include some last-minute shopping, indulging in a few treats, and welcoming his nephew all the way from Australia. The singer - who welcomed his fifth child, Arabella, with wife Emily in April - also shared his excitement for the festive season, saying: "Christmas is finally upon us and I can’t believe how fast it has come around! I’m a little unprepared with my shopping, but I’m sure it will all come together." He added that he doesn't like his family spending money on him and prefers a traditional Christmas at home.
The 51 year old told OK!: "Emily and I have a traditional Christmas at home with the kids – we wake up, exchange presents, have a nice dinner, play board games and watch classics like Home Alone." Peter also mentioned looking forward to Arabella’s first Christmas and the joy of seeing his children's faces when Santa visits. But one thing's for sure, the star will also be enjoying the festive season himself and indulging in a few treats.

I'm a real food lover – indeed, I have chocolate almost daily – but I strongly advocate for maintaining an active lifestyle and striking a balance. I don't usually go overboard at Christmas because I allow myself treats on most days, so I don't need to struggle to get back into the "swing" of things. Moreover, exercise, at least for me, aids in mental health and making healthier choices. I believe treats should be savoured throughout the year!"
It's also set to be a Christmas to remember in the Andre household as Peter's nephew has made plans to visit them on the big day. He said: "This Christmas, we're thrilled to have my nephew staying with us. He's the same age as Princess and it will be his first British Christmas. Christmas in Australia is quite different. It's extremely hot there during this season, so Christmas Day is always celebrated outdoors. One year, we cooked the turkey on Christmas Eve, refrigerated it, and then took it to the beach in a cooler along with some drinks for a chilled Christmas dinner on the sand. I recall seeing Santa in budgie smugglers, so it's quite, well, unique. Merry Christmas everyone!"
