It seems like the phone explosion massacre is not limited to Xiaomi phones now. In an unfortunate event, a woman from Shanxi, China, incurred considerable burns due to her iPhone 14 Pro Max explosion. The incident happened around 6:30 AM when the woman unintentionally put her head on the phone while sleeping.

She witnessed that the device is emitting flames and smokes. The device caught fire and it was on charging on her bed which caused the damage to the bedding as well. And that’s not it, her apartment also got smoke stained to a great extent. This is sparked a debate all over the internet as in what is the reason behind the same. The event has also raised multiple questions on the battery safety of smartphones.

However, one thing to note here before raising questions on everything else is that the iPhone 14 Pro Max was not under warranty as the women purchased the device in 2022. She is also eager to learn what went wrong and initiated the explosion once she recovers from the injuries caused by the same. The victim is also looking for compensation for all the damage that happened due to the explosion.

Now, the customer care has already raised their concern over the problem, irrespective of the fact that the device was out of warranty. Some of the Apple officials have already said that they can’t come to a conclusion until all the safety issues related to the device are investigated thoroughly. As of now, it is also not clear if the battery was repaired or replace from an unauthorized centre, which could a major reason behind the explosion.

Experts all over the globe advise people to not leave phone on charging unattended near anything that could catch fire easily. Use of unauthorized chargers and other stuff should be completely avoided at all costs in order to increase safety.
