Jimmy Barnes has publicly introduced his long-lost daughter.
The Aussie star learned that he was the biological father to Katy Lee around five years ago and has since welcomed her into the family.
"Christmas is all about family and we would like to introduce my daughter Katy Lee, who has been in our lives for the past five years," he said in a statement on Instagram alongside a carousel of family photos.

"Katy is a wonderful woman and since discovering that I was her biological father, our family and extended family have loved getting to know her.
"It's been heartwarming to see good relationships growing with her sisters and brothers. We have always respected her very strong desire to keep her family life private and will continue to support her."
Other members of the family took to Barnes post to share their love for Katy Lee.
"Go Katy, we all love you," wrote Barnes' wife Jane Barnes.
Barnes' daughter Jackie Barnes shared her love by simply commenting three love heart emojis.

Katy Lee also took to her own Instagram to share the happy family news.
"Five years ago, I found out that my biological father is Jimmy Barnes. Since that moment, I've been embraced by the Barnes family with love, warmth and incredible understanding," she wrote.
"Over the years, we have been slowly and carefully getting to know one another and this journey has been one of patience, respect and tenderness.
"It's been a deeply meaningful process and I am grateful for the bonds that we are building together.
"While this journey has brought up some complex emotions, it has also been an extraordinary gift to be welcomed into such a talented and kind family. I am thankful every day for their support."

Earlier this year, Barnes and Campbell opened up about their relationship on an episode of The Apple & The Tree podcast.
Barnes was just 16 when Campbell was born while Campbell didn't learn who is father really was until he was 10 years old.
When Campbell did find out, Barnes was 30 and it was a real shock for them both.
"He was 30... and a 10-year-old just lands in his lap .. it's a really complicated situation," David explained.
"I had lot of anxiety ... a lot of 'I don't belong here' but also 'I want to belong here'."
Barnes agreed, saying, "He tried to escape from it."

The Working Class Man singer continued, sharing that it was a tricky time for his son.
"David got a bit sick when he started to realise who I was, it was overwhelming, he got migraines and stuff.
"I was like, 'I'm sorry I'm your father... have you seen Star Wars?'" he joked.
On reflection, however, Barnes and Campbell shared that they are grateful for their bond.
"I can't regret anything I've done, because everything I've done has brought me to this space, with this family," he said.
