Ivanka Trump rocked a gorgeous black-and-white Givenchy gown to Donald Trump’s Inaugural Night Balls on Monday. One can never go wrong with the classic color combo, and the businesswoman proved just that. According to WWD, the piece was part of the French fashion house’s haute couture collection. Moreover, the gown took inspiration from some of the archival pieces from the brand’s 1950s collections.
The black-and-white ensemble features a bustier bodice and an overskirt made of taffeta silk. The matching organdy on top gave the skirt more volume, adding grandeur to the silhouette. Ivanka Trump’s Givenchy gown also featured an asymmetrical hemline that made use of black silk satin organza for a ruffled trim. However, the most eye-catching element of the black-and-white piece was the intricate black floral detailing on the stark white fabric.
Trump completed the elegant look with elbow-length gloves. She also paired the ensemble with pointed-toe heels, opting for a black pair to complement her black-and-white fit. For jewelry, she went with a diamond necklace from LEVIEV. The brand called the neckpiece a “masterpiece of elegance, prestige, and craftsmanship,” calling the bling “fit for royalty.” She also incorporated diamond studs from LEVIEV, further elevating the overall look.
Ivanka Trump kept her hair and makeup simple yet chic for the Inaugural Night Balls, parting her blonde hair down the side for a sophisticated chignon. For makeup, she opted for glossy, nude lips that didn’t draw attention away from her gorgeous fashion choices.
