JELLY Roll has officially lost 100 pounds in his weight loss journey, as the singer has promised fans they “won’t recognize him” next year.
Jelly Roll, 39, took a break from his Beautifully Broken tour to give fans an update on his weight loss.
“Next year when ya’ll see me, you won’t recognize me. I’m going to get under a pile of weights in a way that I never have,” he said in a recent Instagram video.
His chef then revealed they are halfway through the tour and Jelly has been “crushing it” by walking through arenas, playing basketball and boxing.
“He just surpassed his 100-pound weight loss,” Chef Larios said in the video.
He then revealed his diet while on tour, as one of his favorite pre-show snacks is bananas with honey, dark chocolate and more to “fuel” him with high protein.
As for after the show, Jelly enjoys Nashville-style hot chicken without oil and batter, and french fries that are air-fried in bone broth.
"It tricks your brain into thinking that this is, like, that nice greasy Nashville deep-fried hot chicken. He’s going to feel like he’s eating at home," Chef Larios said.
Jelly showed off all of his hard work at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony over the weekend, as he looked slim in a black suit.
WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY
Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, revealed he weighed over 500 pounds in 2015.
The I Am Not Okay singer recently opened up about his food addiction on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast.

He said, "I just have to fight the pirate on my shoulder, you know them late nights, I'm a food addict. I've probably never said it this honestly, but this is the podcast to be that real about it.
"I just have had a bad relationship with food from birth. I've never had a good relationship with food. I never had a good example around me of it.
"I've always said that I believe obesity is directly connected to mental health. I know how easy it is for people to go, ‘Quit eating so much, just workout. It's so easy.'
"I wish I looked at food that way. But I understand it from the perspective of an addict, because I know what addiction is and how I struggle with food is the same way I struggled with codeine. It's the same way I struggled with cocaine."
"I need to change my entire relationship with how I look at food," Jelly Roll said.
In April, Jelly told People he was down 70 pounds.
"I've been really kicking a**, man. I'm doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week,” he said. “I'm doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day. I'm eating healthy right now."
Jelly Roll also revealed that he wants to lose another 100 pounds.
"If I feel this good down this weight, man, I can only imagine what I'm going to feel like by the time I go on tour."
