Jennifer Aniston, 55, has revealed her final - and only - words to Angelina Jolie, spoken soon before Angelina took up with Jen’s then-husband, Brad Pitt.
The Friends star got married to Brad, 61, in 2001, and they finalised their divorce in October 2005. In January 2006, however, Angelina, 49, announced she was expecting a baby with the actor. She and Brad reportedly fell in love while working on Mr and Mrs Smith, which they filmed in 2004.
Jennifer revealed that, sadly, she met Angelina for the first and only time just before Angelina and Brad started filming the hit movie, and that her words, in hindsight, almost predicted Brad’s shock romance.

"I pulled over and introduced myself,” Jennifer recalled, according to the Daily Record. "I said, 'Brad is so excited about working with you. I hope you guys have a really good time.'"
While the Brangelina relationship alarmed Jennifer’s fans at the time, it’s finally coming to an end. Angelina and Brad have reportedly reached a settlement in their divorce after years of fighting in court, and the actress filed her paperwork on Monday. Angelina is said to be forgoing spousal and family support from Brad, with her estimated net worth of around $120 million more than enough to support her and her family.
In a statement, Angelina's lawyer James Simon said: "More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over."
The exes share six children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 20; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and Knox and his twin sister Vivienne, 16. Amid the divorce, Brad’s relationships with some of his kids seem to be going through a rough patch.
Of he and Angelina’s six children, three have decided to drop his surname and just go by "Jolie." Their oldest daughter Zahara seemed to start the trend, introducing herself as just Zahara Jolie in 2023. Vivienne soon followed suit, alongside Shiloh.
Decades on from his highly publicised relationship with Jen, Brad has found new love with jewellery designer Ines de Ramon, 34. The couple went public in summer 2024, and have reportedly been dating for a couple of years. While Brad is openly flaunting his new romance, a friend of Angelina’s recently shot down rumours that she has a new flame of her own. The actress has frequently been seen with British rapper Akala, 41, but an insider spoke up to claim that the pair are just friends.
