Jennifer Aniston ‘Will Never Turn Around’ on Her Dislike of Lori Loughlin After College Scandal

2 weeks ago 3

Lori Loughlin is a reformed person after her college admissions bribery scandal, and she’s been trying to repair old burned bridges including her relationship with Jennifer Aniston. However, the Friends alum has zero interest, a source exclusively tells In Touch.

“Jen will never turn around on Lori, who she has never liked,” the insider says of the Murder Mystery star, 55, and the Full House alum, 60.

“The 2019 college admissions scandal just confirmed things Jen always believed about Lori, that she’s out for herself and will step on anybody to get it. It’s the kind of attitude Jen and her Morning Show team skewer in almost every episode of their show and it’s something Jen really stands against in her personal life,” the source continues.

“Jen has a history with Lori through their mutual friend, John Stamos, but she hasn’t really changed her opinion of Lori since she finally took responsibility for her crimes,” the insider adds.

Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pled guilty in 2020 to conspiracy to commit fraud in the Operation Varsity Blues college admissions scandal. They were accused of paying $500,000 towards bribes to help get their daughters, Isabella Rose Giannulli and Olivia Jade Giannulli, admitted to the University of Southern California as crew recruits.

The Fall Into Winter actress was sentenced to two months in prison, two years of supervised release, ordered to pay a fine of $150,000 and was ordered to complete 150 community service hours upon her release. Mossimo, 61, received a five-month sentence, two years of supervised release, was ordered to pay a $250,000 fine and ordered to perform 250 hours of community service.

Lori began working with the Los Angeles-based charity Project Angel Food following her December 28, 2020, release from the Federal Correctional Institution, Dublin, in Alameda County, California.

In her first non-acting TV appearance in July 2022, Lori spoke about how those at the charity — which prepares and delivers healthy meals to feed people impacted by serious illness — had been so accepting of her.

“It is a community, it is a family, and all the people that work here are so wonderful,” she said in a segment on Los Angeles TV station KTLA 5.

“They have welcomed me with such open arms at a time when I was feeling particularly down and broken,” Lori continued. “That’s how I found a home here, and that’s what I feel like they did for me, and that’s why I’m so proud to be here and working with this organization, because they really do care. It’s really a community.”

While Jen may not be so forgiving, 2024 saw Lori get somewhat back into the good graces of Hollywood again. She joined Full House costar Candace Cameron Bure on the 31st Annual Movieguide Awards red carpet in February 2024. Two months later, Lori looked glamorous in a white gown while attending “An Unforgettable Evening” benefiting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund with numerous industry power players.

The When Calls the Heart star had another Full House reunion, this time with John, 61, at the Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine Benefiting The Scleroderma Research Foundation benefit in October 2024. The duo smiled on the red carpet while attending the event celebrating their close friend, Bob Saget, who died in January 2022 following an accidental head injury. It raised money to help find a cure for the autoimmune disease, which took Bob’s sister’s life in 1994.

Lori made her TV comeback on Prime Video’s cop show On Call, which premiered on January 9. She plays a tough lieutenant with the Long Beach, California, police department. It is her first acting role since the actress’ prison stint.
