Are Jennifer Garner‘s friends calling her relationship with John Miller boring? That might be the case as her pals reportedly want to help them kick their romance up a notch. Still, we think it’s good that there’s no drama between them — it means that they’ve found the perfect recipe for their love.
Garner and Miller are both homebodies who prefer a “low-key” life instead of the Hollywood red carpet glamour. “They almost never go anywhere, and when they do go on a date it’s usually to the most low-key places. There’s no glitz or glam or excitement,” a Life & Style source claimed. “They really are perfect for each other because they both seem happiest just staying home for their date nights and maybe taking a walk around the neighborhood after dinner.”

Describing them as an “old married couple,” their sleepovers are usually restricted to the weekends her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, has their two kids, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12 (daughter Violet, 18, attends Yale University). While the formula works well for Garner and Miller, their pals “think they could stand to add a little spice to things” because they are “acting way older than their years.” Come on, give the sweet couple a break, especially after they went through a rocky patch with Affleck’s divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
“John doesn’t like sharing Jen and there is a divide when it comes to her and Ben,” a source told the Daily Mail in August. “John is looking forward to Ben and J.Lo’s split being done so he can start focusing on Jen. Bumpy roads recently are looking to be smoothed out.” Their relationship has been looking up though, and there are even rumors that Garner will be a Paris spring bride.
“Jen and John have taken a lot more trips to Europe than people realize,” an In Touch Weekly insider alleged. “Paris is one of their favorite escapes and they’ve decided getting married there this coming spring is something they want to do.” The 52-year-old actress was reportedly scouting for wedding dresses after attending the Christian Dior show during Paris Fashion Week in September.
So, it sounds like things are looking up for Garner and Miller. Their preference for staying “home in their sweatpants, playing cards” seems quaint, and in the end, the Life & Style source noted that “their friends are all happy for them.” They sound like two peas in a pod!
