Despite their recent divorce, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been spotted continuing their amicable relationship. The former couple reportedly met up to exchange Christmas gifts for the holiday season.

According to Page Six, an unnamed source revealed that Lopez and Affleck met on Sunday at the exclusive Soho House to exchange gifts. The insider shared that prior to their meetup, Affleck had purchased a signed Marlon Brando book for Lopez, a gesture inspired by her admiration for the legendary actor and her iconic Super Bowl bodysuit.

Jennifer Lopez shows rare sadness at premiere after split from Affleck

"Ben gifted Jennifer with the book because she's a fan, plus her Super Bowl bodysuit was inspired by Marlon Brando," the source said.

"The gifts were mostly for each other's kids, but they did exchange a few small things for each other as well.

"It was nothing over the top, but more so a gesture to celebrate the holidays. Ben and Jennifer have remained amicable despite the ongoing divorce proceedings."

Their split

Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck after just two years of marriage, a move that took many by surprise, especially considering their second attempt at a relationship.

The pair first became involved in 2002, after meeting on the set of Gigli, and got engaged that same year. However, they ended their engagement in 2004. Their second attempt at love came nearly two decades later, but it was short-lived.

Even after the divorce filing, sources close to the couple have suggested that they still have a strong bond. A report from Page Six, citing an unnamed source, indicated that Lopez and Affleck "have every intention of continuing to be in each other's lives" and "communicate when it involves their kids."

The ongoing mutual respect has led many to speculate that, while their marriage may have ended, their friendship and co-parenting relationship remains intact.
