Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ‘settle $550,000,000 divorce’ 5 months after split

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have settled their divorce five months after their shock split, it has been claimed.

The former couple, dubbed Bennifer, tied the knot in two separate ceremonies in 2022, a year after their whirlwind reunion.

However, it wasn’t to last and the Unstoppable actress, 55, filed to end her marriage to the Batman actor, 52, last August, on their two-year wedding anniversary.

According to multiple US reports, their separation has now been made official.

The Daily Mail reports that they walked down the aisle without a pre-nup in place, with their cumulative wealth thought to be around the $550million mark.

They are also said to have reached an agreement on their $61million mansion in Beverly Hills, which they purchased shortly before ending their relationship – but the terms will reportedly remain under wraps.

Jennifer and Ben first dated in the early 2000s but famously ended their engagement and went on to marry other people.

They then sent fans and famous friends into complete meltdown when they reunited in 2021, before taking the plunge the following year – they said their vows in a Las Vegas ceremony in July, 2022, and held a bigger celebration surrounded by their loved ones the next month.

Despite appearing loved-up on various red carpets, as well as J Lo’s own documentary, they were met with intense split speculation last year.

The Love Don’t Cost A Thing singer then filed for divorce in August, and later told Interview Magazine that she needed to be alone after enduring a tough few months.

‘You have to be complete, if you want something that’s more complete. You have to be good on your own. I thought I learned that, but I didn’t,’ she said. ‘And then, this summer, I had to be like, “I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that.”

‘It feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate. But when you sit in those feelings and go, “These things are not going to kill me,” it’s like actually, I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself.

‘Being in a relationship doesn’t define me. I can’t be looking for happiness in other people. I have to have happiness within myself. I used to say I’m a happy person, but was still looking for something for somebody else to fill, and it’s just like, “No, I’m actually good.”’

Jennifer also vowed that she’s ‘not looking for anybody’ at the moment after a painful time, but has zero regrets.

‘That doesn’t mean it didn’t almost take me out for good. It almost did,’ she declared. ‘But now, on the other side of it, I think to myself, “F**k, that is exactly what I needed.”

‘I finally got it! And by the way, that doesn’t mean I have everything figured out. Now I’m excited, when you say you’re just going to be on your own.

‘Yes, I’m not looking for anybody, because everything that I’ve done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I f**king do when it’s just me flying on my own.’
