Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have settled their divorce and requested that a judge officially finalize their split, according to court documents.

Lopez, 55, filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, stating that she and Affleck, 52, settled their divorce through mediation in September, per the Associated Press. The "Jenny From the Block" singer had filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20.

Per the documents, no spousal support was requested by either party and they asked for attorney's fees to be split. Lopez stated that the "exact nature" of their community assets and individual property obligations are "unknown" and "will be determined."

Lopez also stated that once the divorce is finalized, she will drop Affleck from her legal name.

Newsweek has contacted representatives of Lopez and Affleck via email for comment.

This marks the fourth divorce for Lopez and the second for Affleck, who was previously married to fellow screen star Jennifer Garner, with whom he has three children.

Who are Lopez's ex-husbands? Newsweek has taken a look back at her past marriages.

Ojani Noa

Ojani Noa was a waiter working at a Miami restaurant owned by Gloria Estefan when he charmed Lopez before she skyrocketed to superstardom via her role in the movie Selena. Noa and Lopez wed in 1997 but split less than a year later.

Noa, who is now a producer, spoke with the Daily Mail about his marriage to Lopez in the summer of 2022, shortly after it was confirmed that she had wed Affleck.

"There were many times I felt like Mr. Cinderella," Noa said of his ill-fated romance with Lopez. "She was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. In the beginning, I had no idea who she was."

"We fell in love when she was already famous. But during our marriage she became a megastar," he said. "For years it was too painful to talk about. I wanted to lie low and live my life. But when I saw she got married to Ben, who is a good guy, the feelings came flooding back."

Noa also weighed in on Lopez's marriage to Affleck, saying at the time that he was "not convinced it will last," although he wished his ex "the best."

"Jen loves being in love, but she's been engaged six times. Ben is husband number four," he said. "I was husband number one and she told me I was the love of her life. When we lay in bed on our wedding night, she said we would be together forever."

Cris Judd

After dating music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, Lopez met Cris Judd in Spain when he was hired as a backing dancer for the music video for her 2000 hit single "Love Don't Cost a Thing."

The two later embarked on a romance and married in September 2001 after a month-long engagement. However, the marriage ended almost a year and a half later.

In a 2014 interview, Judd reflected on his marriage to Lopez, telling Us Weekly that he found it "very tough" being in such a high-profile relationship.

"Your privacy is breached. You're no longer a normal person," he told the publication. "[Our wedding] was a circus. I think several people got arrested trying to climb up a mountain... trying to sneak in. We actually rented the airspace."

Still, noted Judd, "You kind of sign up for that, you know? You kind of have to take it and accept it and embrace it. Once you stop fighting it, it smooths itself over. If you try to keep that privacy, it drives you nuts and that's why people break."

Judd, who remarried in 2009, said that while he took issue with the invasion of privacy that came with marrying a celebrity, it "had no bearing on the outcome of a relationship."

"Unfortunately, it just didn't work out," he said.

Marc Anthony

Lopez tied the knot with singer Marc Anthony in 2004, several years after they had briefly dated for a few months in the late 1990s.

Anthony was the only man with whom Lopez had children, giving birth to twins Emme and Maximilian in 2008.

However, it was not meant to be. The couple announced the amicable end of their relationship in July 2011, and Anthony later for divorce in April 2012. Their divorce was finalized in June 2014.

In her book True Love, published in 2014, Lopez candidly discussed her marriage, as she admitted that it was not as perfect as it may have seemed.

"Anybody looking from the outside in would have thought my life was going great: I had a husband and two beautiful children, and my career was flying high. I was on American Idol, the number-one show on the planet, and my new single 'On the Floor' had gone to number one all over the world," she wrote, per Cheat Sheet.

"To top it off, People magazine had named me their very first Most Beautiful Woman in the World, a few months earlier. How could life get any better? What people didn't know was that life really wasn't that good. My relationship was falling apart, and I was terrified."

Lopez shared that the turning point came when she went for a photo shoot in the desert, where she told her mother, Guadalupe, and manager, Benny Medina, that she didn't "think I can be with Marc anymore," before she "burst into tears."

"Marc was my guy, the one. The father of my children, the man I was going to grow old with," Lopez wrote. "I believed that with all my heart ... until I finally realized, in the months leading up to that day in the desert, that it wasn't meant to be.

"I wasn't listening to my own inner voice, and now my body and soul were physically telling me that I could no longer be there. I couldn't deny the truth anymore. I had to do something about it."

Despite their divorce, Lopez and Anthony remained amicable. They joined forces in 2017 to raise charity funds after Hurricane Maria devastated their ancestral island.

Ben Affleck

Lopez and Affleck, who met in 2002 on the set of their movie Gigli, wed in Las Vegas in July 2022, some 20 years after they first started dating and 18 years after they called off their initial engagement.

After the couple's Las Vegas wedding, Lopez announced their marriage in her newsletter under the heading: "We did it."

She wrote: "When love is real, the only thing that matters in marriage is one another and the promise we make to love, care, understand, be patient, loving, and good to one another. We had that. And so much more. Best night of our lives.

"They were right when they said, 'All you need is love.'"

"We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to. Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things—and worth waiting for," she said.

One month after their Las Vegas nuptials, the pair celebrated their union on the grounds of Affleck's Georgia mansion, with loved ones and celebrity friends including Lopez's 16-year-old twins Max and Emme, from her marriage to Anthony.

Exactly two years after the celebration, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, following months of speculation about the state of their marriage.
