Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez showed her solidarity with those affected by the wildfires that have been raging since last week in Los Angeles, California, and who have been left homeless and decided to donate clothing and footwear to the victims.
But it's not just any donation, as the Bronx Diva took clothes and shoes from her own closet, according to the Daily Mail.
"He took clothes from his own closet and from his huge storage unit, packed them in boxes and put them on a truck," a source told the outlet.
Among the expensive clothes donated by JLo are comfortable clothes, hoodies, jeans, as well as everyday items.
JLo donated clothes, sneakers and beauty products
"There are sneakers, jumpers and jackets, perfect for winter. Jennifer has been collecting clothes for the last 30 years, so there was plenty to choose from," the source revealed, who also claimed that the donation from the "On the Floor" singer began last week and continues to this day.
Among the products donated by Jennifer Lopez are also packages of her JLo brand beauty products, including cleansing and moisturizing products.
Although the amount of the donations has not been revealed, it is estimated to be a considerable sum, taking into account the expensive and demanding tastes of the New York singer.
The Bronx Diva's donated clothing is primarily intended for students, teachers and families in the Los Angeles and Pasadena school district.
Jennifer Lopez expresses solidarity with those affected
The donations are being delivered by marketing agency The A-List.
Since last week, JLo expressed her solidarity with those affected by the fires in California and called for them to go to Boys and Girls Clubs, a nonprofit organization for support.
"My heart goes out to all those affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. I can't even imagine how deeply traumatic these events can be, especially for children who have lost their homes and sense of security. In times like these, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Los Angeles are here to provide support, resources and a safe space for children and families in need," Jennifer Lopez wrote on Instagram, where she has 249 million followers.
The wildfires began on Tuesday, January 7, in Pacific Palisades, but the fire quickly spread through the so-called Santa Ana winds and reached more fronts. So far, authorities have reported 24 dead and 13 missing.
