In late 2023, out of a field of over 50 potential nominees, Lego surprisingly revealed that one of its new “Ideas” sets, taken from crowdsourced user pitches, would be none other than a celebration of the Twilight films–and not only do we finally have a look at the official version, we know it’s coming very soon.
Today the toymaker announced that the Twilight Cullen House, inspired by Lego fan Nick Micheels’ submission to the Ideas program, will release in just a few weeks on February 4. The three story house will be a complete build, and contains rooms inspired by key scenes from across the movie series, including Edward’s bedroom, the grand piano, and even a tree outside that the included Bella and Edward figures can clamber up. As well as the house itself, there are also included builds of Bella’s red truck, and a brick-built giant wolf form for Jacob. Jacob does get a standard minifigure too, alongside the aforementioned Bella and Edward, as well as Carlisle, Esme, Alice, and Charlie.

But perhaps most interesting is that Lego’s press release specifically mentions that the Edward minifigure has a “dazzling sparkle effect.” What that actually means is unclear, however: all the pictures of the Edward minifigure just kind of look like a pasty Lego Robert Pattinson (he does have a suitably gaunt appearance, at least). Maybe it’s subtle so you don’t have one minifigure lighting up like a proverbial Christmas tree, but still, it’s very fun that Lego went the extra mile just for him–clearly, the company is Team Edward.
The Twilight Cullen House is available to pre-order now for $220, and good news: to celebrate its launch, people who buy the set will also be able to digitally access a two hour Lego recreation of the Twilight films using the set and minifigures to watch along while they build it. Wild!
