Over the weekend, the former Top Gear host opened up about how doctors told him he was just days away from death after he was rushed to hospital.
The star was forced to undergo an emergency procedure to fit a stent. A stent is a small, wire mesh tube that is inserted into the body to keep it open, and are often used to treat narrowed blood vessels.
The 64-year-old broadcaster originally fell ill on holiday back in January, but when he returned home, he experienced a “sudden deterioration” in his health which led him to believe he was having a heart attack.

Taking to Instagram on Monday morning (October 21), the blonde bombshell shared a snap of Jeremy outside at his farm. She simply captioned the post: “Patient out and about”. Hours earlier, she updated fans on his health after going under the knife.
Lisa wrote: “Patient update. @jeremyclarkson1 is now 2 stents heavier and I’m a lot happier about that. Lovely messages from so many. Thanks!”
Comic Jason Byrne was one of the first to share his support for the Clarkson's Farm host as he shared his own health battle.
He reassured Lisa: “He’ll be grand Lisa. I had six stents, due to mammy n daddy Irish genes. I’ve been flying since. His blood flow will get to all sorts of places now [heart emoji] every cloud.”

Jeremy then made it clear he hasn't lost his sense of humour amid his health battle as he added to The Sun: “I just have to not do any manual labour or dishwasher emptying for the next four years. At least I think that’s what the doctor said.”
It comes after the motoring journalist revealed that his dog had also been in the operating theatre in what he referred to as a “s**t week.”
The concerning health update comes just days after Clarkson shared a picture of what appeared to be a white surgical plaster on his wrist on Instagram.
The TV favourite wrote in his column in The Sunday Times how he felt “mostly dead” after he returned to the beach following a short swim on his romantic getaway to a small island in the Indian Ocean.

He spent the rest of his break on a tropical island eating cheese and drinking wine. It wasn’t until he returned to Britain and started working on the farm that he noticed pins and needles in his left arm.
Describing what he called the “wearisome effects of growing old”, Clarkson said: “It seems that of the arteries feeding my heart with nourishing blood, one was completely blocked and the second of the three was heading that way.”
Discussing his life-saving surgery – which took around two hours to complete – Jeremy reassured fans: “It wasn’t especially painful. Just odd.”
