Jeremy Clarkson has given punters three new rules to follow at his Farmer's Dog pub in Burford, Oxfordshire.

Since opening in August, Clarkson has faced a number of teething problems at the pub, including pint glass thefts, toilet issues and kitchen problems.

As he approaches five months in the venue, he has now shared some new changes that people will have to follow.

A statement from The Farmer’s Dog said: “It’s been just four months since we opened our doors at The Farmer’s Dog and we are learning as we go and listening to your feedback, so here are our initial plans for 2025.

“As of January 3, you’ll be able to book at lunch. That’s right, you can now ensure you’ve got a spot. Get booking whilst you can. As always, we will also leave some room every day for walk-ins too.

“We are now also going to open six whole days a week, Tuesday – Sunday and, as if that wasn’t enough, we are going to open our doors earlier, so you don’t have to queue waiting in the cold. The Hawkstone will be flowing from 11am.

“Monday nights - if you’re local to The Farmer’s Dog, then this night is for you - whether it’s your darts team, or your Aunt Sally Team in the summer ..come see us on a Monday night for a good old fashioned pint and a natter.

“Drinks, and delicious bar snacks only. Old school pub style.

“Lastly, we’ll be announcing February bookings very soon, so keep your eyes peeled…” This comes after Clarkson admitted his pub has been a "disaster", saying in his Times column: "Behind the scenes, then, everything is a total disaster. But the fact is that when you go there you just wouldn't know."

This isn't the only announcement Clarkson has made recently, as Diddly Squat farm shop has also announced it will be closed to customers until March.

The website states: "The original Farm Shop at Chadlington is closed for January and February. The pop up farm shop at The Farmer's Dog Pub is open Wednesday to Sundays, 10am - 4.30pm."

This information was also echoed in the opening hours section, which confirmed: "We are open on the 27th, 28th and 29th December. We will be shut in January and February, reopening on 1st March."
