Meghan Markle confirmed a new show is set to launch

The announcement that Meghan Markle is set to release another Netflix show has sparked a host of mixed reactions.

Perhaps this isn't surprising, as her tell-all documentary received a divided response from viewers. Her upcoming lifestyle series, "With Love, Meghan," promises to offer an intimate glimpse into the Duchess's domestic life, featuring segments in the kitchen, garden and even at a beehive.

The show aims to dish out culinary delights, crafting and gardening tips, potentially making it a hit with Instagram lovers. Despite some initial confusion over the trailer, TikTok user, Liz Duff, suggests there's a savvy motive behind Meghan's project.

She claims the show targets a specific demographic, stating: "Meghan Markle's new show is for all the Canadian girls that grew up studying The Tig like bible studies. The three years that we had this blog truly defined an entire generation of lifestyle girlies in Canada."

Liz added: "This amazing actress on like the number one show in the world in Toronto filming and loving our city, and loving our country, and how she would spend the weekend like thrifting and getting flowers, and going to Kensington Market.

"She was very much part of the 'it' social crowd in Canada at the time like, this blog post where she had dinner with Michael Buble, classic. So fun. Everything that I love about The Tig is very obviously a part of this show."

Before Meghan Markle met Prince Harry, she ran a lifestyle blog called The Tig, which was launched in 2014, and delved into her passions for food and travel. The blog's name was reportedly inspired by her favourite Tignanello wine.

Now, with the announcement of her new show, fans are speculating that it's a tribute to The Tig, suggesting she's returning to her roots. Since the news broke, the excitement has been palpable online, with thousands viewing related videos and many expressing their enthusiasm.

Comments from supporters include: "I had no idea Meghan had a widely successful blog. Now I have to tune in to support the Duchess."

Another fan said: "Wow, I love positive Meghan posts. Thank you for uplifting her."

A third also added: "The Tig was one of my favourite blogs then. I would get to work early on Fridays and use the extra time to drink coffee and read blog posts. We're so back."
